Newport City Council is seeking to identify potential service providers for the Gypsy Roma Traveller welfare services across the local authority area. We are looking for an experienced welfare support provider to undertake welfare visits to unauthorised encampment within the Newport City authority area. This will require the provider to make contact and attend within 24 hours during the working week, to ensure that we are providing the best possible support for people travelling in the city. If you would like to express an interest in this contract, then please contact Newport City Council by 2nd July 2025 outlining how you would carry out the welfare services for families residing in the area. Suppliers who express an interest in this requirement will be asked to meet with the Council on Wednesday 9th July 2025.
