The North Wales Rivers Trust (NWRT) is a river restoration charity covering the rivers and lakes of Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, and Denbighshire. In June, NWRT installed a large 330 m2 floating wetland at Llyn Maelog, NW Anglesey, as part of a long-term project to reduce eutrophication and associated algae blooms. NWRT are seeking external technical assistance to calculate the nutrient biomass of the wetland plants after their first season of growth. Works to include field work harvesting the plants and laboratory analysis of nutrient biomass.
