The Company Factor Development Cyf owns several renewable energy systems in West Wales and the valleys the majority of systems are located in the Merthyr area with some projects running in Swansea, Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire. The company is planning to outsource the maintenance of these systems for the next five years this will include managing all warranty issues with original installers as well as replacement and installation of non warranty parts or installation of warrant parts outside the labour warranty period of the original installation contracts (typically 2 years). Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:The maintenance contract forms an important part of maintaining the systems to help maximise the community benefit of these systems , the contractor should be aware of this to ensure repairs are made in a timely manner.Relates to the following project/programme financed by EU Community Funds: The systems are part of a community energy project titled AMMV Energy Worx.
