Bron Afon Community Housing (Bron Afon) is looking to appoint one or two suitably qualified principal contractors (PC’s) to carry out cavity wall and loft insulation and/or rendering works. The tender comprises of two lots. Principle contractors may tender for one or both lots. Please ensure you stipulate which lot number(s) you are tendering for in your tender submission in appendix 1B.Lot 1: Cavity & Loft Insulation e.g. surveys, written reports, safeguards to building fabric, extraction,cavity clearance, refill, removal of old loft insulation, installation of loft insulation, making good etc.Full and partial properties. Any enabling works such as gas works, electrical works, liaison with utilities services e.g. Nation Grid, relocation of satellite and aerials, scaffolding etc. are expected to be arranged by the PC (subcontracting by one level is permitted).Lot 2: Rendering works e.g. hack off existing render, re-render etc. Full and partial properties.
