description

This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition. The overall aim is to increase levels of volunteering within communities, whilst at the same time improving the way that the public sector connects electronically with citizens.

This competition is supported by the Can Do Innovation Challenge Fund which is intended to launch on Friday 10th January when the full competition documentation will be made available through Public Contracts Scotland.

Organisations can apply for a share of 150,000 GBP (inc. VAT) to develop in phase one ideas that support people to get home earlier following a stay in hospital.

Phase 1 is intended to show the technical feasibility of the proposed concept. The development contracts placed will be for a maximum of 3 months. A total of up to 30,000 GBP (inc VAT) funding is available per project.

It is anticipated that the contract notice will be published on Friday 10th January 2020 with a closing date of Friday 31st January 2020 at 12 noon.
