Darlington Lane - Alterations

Alterations of Darlington lane property on the basis of an investment strategy to ensure SBC can continue to meet the care and education needs of children in the Borough. An assessment of current need, outline proposals and set out the basis of a level of future investment, outlined in the Medium term Financial Plan was highlighted.

Tenders were sought from a list of five local SME companies to undertake the refurbishment of 231 Darlington Lane to ensure suitability as an edge of care residential setting. This was based on a detailed design completed by SBC design services.
