S Stock HVAC Repairs

This procurement will cover the immediate and ongoing requirements for the repair of Heat and Vent Air Conditioning Units (HVAC's) for S Stock trains. This will include finding faults in casualty units, rectifying the repairs, and repairing defective Cab and Saloon HVACs which is necessary to support fleet maintenance activities. Spend is not committed as HVAC's will be sent to the supplier on a fail and fix basis.

The total amount is circa £370,254.

The justification for awarding this proposed contract contract in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 Direct Award Section 41.6 Schedule 5 Paragraph 2 to Tidyco Limited for HVAC repairs without competition stems from Tidyco's having invested in developing a prototype repair rig solution for fault finding.
