description
| • | Transport for London is seeking market input to inform the future management, operation and maintenance of its secure cycle parking facility at Finsbury Park, located on Stroud Green Road opposite Finsbury Park station. |
| • | The hub opened in 2006 and currently provides 161 secure cycle spaces, including 21 spaces for larger/non-standard cycles, with access via access-code-controlled doors. |
| • | The supplier would be expected to manage the day-to-day operation of the hub. This would include operating the access control system, managing memberships and customer access, running the customer website, collecting membership fees and transferring them to TfL quarterly, and responding to customer queries promptly. |
| • | The supplier would also be responsible for routine maintenance and management of the facility, including the cycle parking equipment, repair equipment, lighting, cleaning, inspections, CCTV, fault reporting and rectification. |
| • | TfL would retain responsibility for the structural elements of the facility, including the roof, railings, doors, brickwork and drainage. TfL approval would be required for any changes to the layout, website, abandoned-cycle removal process, branding or publicity. |
| • | TfL is currently exploring how best to optimise usage, maintain a high-quality customer experience, and ensure the facility can accommodate future demand. |
| • | TfL is also considering the commercial approach to the management of the facility. |
This exercise does not form part of any formal procurement process. All responses will be carefully considered but will not bind TfL to any approach to the procurement, nor will responses be treated as conveying any promise or commitment on the part of the respondent.
