The objective of the programme is to modernise HMRC's hosting landscape by transitioning services from three managed data centres to secure, scalable public cloud platforms. The scope of migration includes all services currently reliant on data centre infrastructure, recognising that other programmes may progress elements of this transition earlier. Where this occurs, scope will be adjusted accordingly to avoid duplication.
This procurement establishes the core delivery mechanism for this transformation, enabling both the migration and ongoing service hosting in a modern cloud environment.
