description

Newcastle City Council is seeking to appoint a range of partners to a Housing Partnership Framework Panel to bring forward development of new affordable homes and the refurbishment of existing properties in Newcastle. The Panel will also be available for use by Northumberland County Council, North Tyneside Council and other Local Authorities via an access agreement should they wish to use it.

The Framework will be split into 3 lots:

Lot 1 Registered Provider Lot

Lot 2 Developer and Housebuilder Lot

Lot 3 Developer and Contractor Lot

The scale of developments will range from small sites with capacity of under 10 units to sites with a capacity of over 100+ homes. It is expected that approximately 500 - 700 units will be delivered through the Framework Panel. The Framework Panel period will be four years from the date of the framework agreement. The time frame for the operational element of contracts may be specific to each scheme up to a period of 30 years. The value of the services over the 30 years for the framework is estimated to be £60million
