This Framework is for the Service and Supply only of Electronic Assistive Technology Equipment for residents of Northamptonshire Social Services. The main aim of the service is to support independent living through use of Assistive technology. The main objective of the service is to help people in need of support to maintain their independence and their health and wellbeing in their chosen home for as long as possible and: • To prevent people from moving into institutional care • To prevent hospital admission • To assist speedy transfer of care from hospital • To create efficiencies in the delivery of Social Services • To support positive outcomes for disabled children, young people and adults
