WP12.4.1 - Installation of primary steel framework, installation of steel sub frames, cladding tracking systems, firestops, insulation, retail doors and glazing panels for retail units within the station SAB areas.

1.1.1.1Scope: For a Subcontractor to fabricate, manufacture, and install fibre cement cladding, internal glazing and smoke downstands, and all internal structural steelwork to support the internal cladding and glazing scope to front of house and station concourse areas. The scope also to include overclad doors, skirtings trims and architectural finished louvres. Note the HS2 station internal artwork cladding panels provided by others.
1.1.1.2The Contractor will issue a detailed design for pricing as part of the Invitation to Tender. The Subcontractor will develop the design and coordinate the interfaces of the works, ensuring it is compliant and accepted by the Project Manager prior to commencement of works.
1.1.1.3It's anticipated the site works will commence in mid 2027 and are likely to finish end of 2030.

Key materials for the Subcontractor to fabricate, manufacture and install:

1.1.1.4Bespoke designed steel frame curtain walling system with fixed units, steel frame curtain walling system with single glazed fixed panels - 172m2.
1.1.1.5Bespoke fabricated single glazed stick façade system, steel frame curtain walling system with clear faced single glazed units; glazed framed doors and opaque bulkhead infill panels - 577m2.
1.1.1.6overall size 2000 x 2500mm high; double leaf doors - 10No.
1.1.1.7Fire stops to the ceiling level - Approximately 720m.
1.1.1.8Bespoke designed internal steel frame system, with fire rating and acoustic requirements incorporating a combination of clear and back painted fixed single-glazed units - 466m2.
1.1.1.9Bespoke fabricated double-glazed system with insulated panels steel frame system with glazed facade system; double glazed fixed panels - 171m2.
1.1.1.10Bespoke fabricated double-glazed system, steel frame system with glazed facade system; double glazed fixed panels - 97m2.
1.1.1.11Fibre cement cladding lining with stainless steel trims and stainless-steel portal frame, supported by bracketry and rails which shall be fixed back to the vertical posts - 424m2.
1.1.1.12Metal Cladding Lining, steel panels to form a rainscreen system shall be supported by bracketry and rails, including supply and install of vertical posts - 1353m2.
1.1.1.13Installation of approximately 760m of ceiling firestopping.
1.1.1.14Installation of 35No double leaf doors, fixings, door jambs and headers.
1.1.1.15Installation of louvers, glazing manifestations, skirting, roller blinds, concertina smoke screen and down stands.

NOTE: LIN-271 is the vitreous enamel art cladding panels, this does not form part of this scope.
