Patient Referral System

Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to procure an electronic patient referral management system in order to reduce outpatient pathway delays and improve service performance.

The Trust currently manually processes on average over 27,000 referrals each month in a non-standardised paper-based referral management system. The objective will be to implement a standardised, robust and efficient electronic referral management system that will provide complete visibility of each referral, enable tracking and tracing, standardise the grading process through pre-defined speciality specific drop-down menus and be accessible for multiple types of devices.
