Catering & Retail Services

Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking expressions of interest to provide staff and visitor catering and retail services across 3 sites.

This project is intended to provide an evidence-based proposal to change the types of food, drink and other forms of retail catering available and how it is presented to staff members and the and the public.

A key aspect will be to encourage and enable people to eat and drink more healthily whilst at work or visiting our hospitals with an appropriate range, choice and accessibility being made available.

Of equal importance is the requirement to provide a fairly priced sustainability-focused non-food offer which meets the aspirations of patients, staff, visitors and relatives.

There will be a Bidders briefing session on Friday 22nd July 2016 to provide a better understanding of the opportunities arising from this project.

Details of the Bidder Day on 22nd July 2016 will be added this notice shortly.

A draft specification and briefing document will be attached to this notice shortly. Please note the document is in draft and may be subject to amendment although no material changes to the specification are anticipated. The evaluation criteria are still in development and the final version will be released with the Invitation to Tender.
