This work package is to provide management, subject matter knowledge, expertise and coordination of innovation development for the following initiative:

  • Spatial Data Platform - product owner for the AVIS replacement system - this includes management of - System design, development, user engagement, testing, training and into business adoption. Liaison with all stakeholders, contribute to and lead digital demand process. Review and approve design developments by supply chain partners.

Taking this approach drives consistency of management processes, efficiency through a single overhead, coordination from a single point with the key and common stakeholders for each digital solution.

Providing subject matter knowledge and independent guidance and support to National Highways to check and challenge the approach to deliver and also ensuring that the work undertaken maintains a trajectory that achieves the outcomes and benefits as required by the Business case.

The services are to provide overarching technical management and governance control of the activities within the portfolio for delivery during this commission. It will include the day-to-day management of tasks through the whole lifecycle commencing with successfully securing funding via the IDC process and onward to procurement, commencement and delivery to the relevant and approved stages of the 4D process and ITD System Readiness Reviews. This will also include all relevant reporting requirements within Major Projects inclusive of accruals forecasting via monthly CMR submissions. Weekly progress meetings are held virtually or face to face depending on constraints of working methods and practises.
