The Welsh Fire and Rescue Service is seeking specialist training to support statutory functions in fire investigation for officers not trained in fire investigation.As an emergency service, the Fire Authority will require the successful provider to:• Deliver an online Tier 1 (Level 2) Fire Investigation training course for candidates to undertake small and non-complex investigation at actual incidents.• Provide assessment and respective qualifications for approximately 330 persons for 2024 - 2026 (with additional courses in line with retirement profile) in the following areas, to ensure its personnel meet the minimum competencies of the Skills for Justice Award, Level 2: Certificate in Fire Investigation.• The course is be accredited by Skills for Justice (SFJ).• The training and assessment to meet and include the Teir 1 requirements as identified in the Appendix 1: Tier 1 Fire Investigation Criteria in NFCC Competence Framework for Fire Investigation, Second Edition
