The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent has a requirement to procure a suitably qualified single Provider to deliver Crime Training courses to Officers in Gwent Police. The courses that shall be delivered to Police Officers shall be accredited courses as directed by the College of Policing.Historically Gwent Police have used a hybrid approach of utilising Detectives posted in Crime Training alongside external Providers who have expertise in a particular element of crime training to deliver courses to officers in Gwent Police.The objective of Learning and Development (Crime Training) is to provide a variety of courses to officers to ensure they are equipped to perform their role.
