The appointment of consultancy support to is to provide a service to enable a growth in the network capacity building of The Welsh Centre for Alcohol and other Drugs (Policy, Practice and Research) (WCAD). It is designed to pump prime activities that will help WCAD grow as a network and support developing further initial activities and funding applications.Identification of and application for additional and future funding grants for WCAD network (initial application October 2022, further applications Jan 2023), i.e. to extend the co-ordination and funding application capacity of the network beyond Jan 2023Application of 3 research grants for specific projects during the period of the post *(2 funding applications in process by October 2022, 1 application submitted no later than Jan2023. These are likely to include building on and extending the two initial projects associated with Lived Experience Panel and Enhanced Harm reduction but will also include new projects/topics as yet undertaken by WCAD members.To create a funding strategy for the network from 2023-2025 anticipated key funders, calls and themesOrganising and facilitation of a face-to-face meeting of the network Oct 2022Organisation and facilitation of wider stakeholder/partnership event at the end of the funding/Jan 2023 (possibly connected to presenting emerging findings from the Enhanced Harm Reduction Summit)Provision of a written report and associated documentation for a Feb 2023 handover meetingNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=122269.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
