description

RSPB wishes to appoint a consultant or agency to develop and then implement an impact focused evaluation methodology for the RSPB and Scottish Seabird Centre (SSC) partnership project focused on Bass Rock and Craigleith island, Safeguarding Iconic Forth Seabird Islands In Partnership.

We are seeking an experienced consultant or agency to design then implement a set of measurable output and outcome indicators to track the progress of and describe the impact of partnership, advocacy, people engagement and participation benefits derived from this project. A robust and manageable system will be created to collect and manage the information generated as a result of the project and its activities. The consultant will use this, alongside the Project Manager, to track impact, progress and learning throughout the project’s delivery period.

The successful candidate should demonstrate previous experience in similar work. The Monitoring and Evaluation System will be submitted as part of a Delivery Phase application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, grants for heritage, in May 2027. This work is funded by the National Lottery through the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Closing 10am Monday 10 August 2026.
