To undertake a feasibility exercise for the potential installation of a wind turbine within or around Doon Academy, Ochiltree and Catrine Primary School sites to include the following tasks as a minimum: -Physical, topographical and environmental constraints

-Proximity to dwellings and sensitive receptors

-Noise constraints

-Slope, aspect and topography

-Environmental and heritage designations

-Hedgerows, tree corridors and habitat constraints

-Access considerations (high level)

  • Proximity to electrical infrastructure
  • Aviation and radar safeguarding issues (including NATS, MOD, civil aviation, low flying areas, Met Office radar)
  • Electromagnetic interference
  • Shadow flicker
  • Any additional site-specific constraints
  • High-level assessment of site access and highway constraints for delivery and erection of turbine components, including identification of any abnormal load or road network limitations.
