The Eljamel Inquiry is a Scottish public inquiry set up under the Inquiries Act 2005. It relates to the professional practice of Mr Eljamel, a consultant neurosurgeon at NHS Tayside’s Ninewells Hospital in Dundee between 1995 and 2014.
The Inquiry requires trauma-informed support for individuals involved in the public inquiry recognising that for some individuals the process of participating in the Inquiry could cause distress.
