Award of Schools Fibre Installation

Clackmannanshire Council requires a contractor to supply, install, terminate, and test multiple new fibre optic links connecting key educational and council buildings. The project involves:Extending an existing 144-core fibre at Tullibody South Campus.Installing 24-core and 48-core Single Mode fibre across 7 defined routes (Parts A–G), including:Banchory PS, Lornshill Academy, St Serf’s PS, St Serf’s Nursery, Alloa Family Centre, and the Old St Bernadette’s building.Supplying and fitting appropriate ducting, enclosures, patch panels, and terminations (LC type).Conducting full OTDR testing and supplying test results.Ensuring safe working practices with public access control.Providing post-installation support for 30 days.Completing all works by 8 August 2025, preferably starting 30 June 2025.This is a Quick Quote exercise evaluated on 80% price and 20% quality, with key quality aspects including delivery timescale, safety and access planning, and readiness to start promptly during the school summer break.
