description
Introduction1. The Rural and Environmental Science, and Analytical Services (RESAS) Division within Scottish Government wishes to commission a project to model and quantify the impacts of different trade scenarios on Scottish Agriculture following the UK’s exit from the European Union (EU).Background2. The UK leaving the EU, and the end of the transition period, will have significant impacts for all aspects of society. The Agriculture sector faces significant challenges, as the market trading arrangements which have provided the framework against which the current market has developed, will change.3. This would include trade with the EU in the event of a No-Deal Brexit. However, a range of other outcomes are also possible
