Police Scotland are proposing various alterations to the ground floor accommodation at their Forensic Services Lab at Howden Hall, Edinburgh. The site is located at 11 Howden Hall Road, Edinburgh, EH16 6TL and comprises a two-storey purpose built forensic lab.

An initial brief has been received from Police Scotland to refurbish and refit part of the existing ground floor accommodation consisting of Toxicology Lab 1, Toxicology Lab 2. In order to achieve this the existing walls forming part of the existing Toxicology Lab 2 will be removed to create a larger lab area.

Building services alterations comprising of power, data, lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water services and lab services will also be required to achieve the desired scheme.

No external alterations are required.
