description

The Authority wishes to appoint a contractor to deliver the works package for the refurbishment of Ben Lomond View, Pottery Street, Greenock Inverclyde, PA15 2UZ.

Works must be completed by 30 April 2027.

The existing Greenock Police Station was built c. 1970 and is key in providing operational policing to the community of the Inverclyde area. Over the past few decades, the use of the building has evolved, and alongside aspects due to general age of the building, and the roll out of various new systems, practices, and technologies, the current building no longer suits the requirements of 21st century policing. As such there is a need to exit the station and relocate the Police Station to another property at Ben Lomond View, Pottery Steet, Greenock. The intention is to refurbish Ben Lomond View, so it is fit for use for future years.

The Authority is leasing the site from Riverside Inverclyde.
