Growing Mid Wales - Mobile Coverage and Capacity Project / Tyfu Canolbarth Cymru - Prosiect Cwmpas a Chapasiti Symudol

Ceredigion County Council is providing advance notice of its intention to procure a Mobile Coverage and Capacity Project aimed at improving mobile connectivity and network capacity across identified priority areas within the County.

The project will be delivered through a number of complementary workstreams, with the principal element comprising a Commercial Infrastructure Fund designed to support competitive, outcome-based interventions across approximately 40 priority locations. The objective of the programme is to enhance mobile coverage and capacity, helping to improve digital connectivity for residents, businesses and visitors.

The proposed contract is anticipated to span a period of three years and may be divided into four separate lots to facilitate delivery across the identified areas. Further details regarding the scope of works, lot structure, procurement timetable and contract requirements will be provided within the tender documentation at the time of publication.

Mae Cyngor Sir Ceredigion yn rhoi rhybudd ymlaen llaw o'i fwriad i gaffael Prosiect Gwella Cwmpas a Chapasiti Symudol gyda'r nod o wella cysylltedd symudol a chapasiti rhwydwaith ar draws ardaloedd blaenoriaeth a nodwyd o fewn y Sir.

Bydd y prosiect yn cael ei gyflawni drwy nifer o ffrydiau gwaith ategol, gyda'r brif elfen yn cynnwys Cronfa Seilwaith Masnachol a gynlluniwyd i gefnogi ymyriadau cystadleuol sy'n canolbwyntio ar ganlyniadau ar draws tua 40 o leoliadau blaenoriaeth. Nod y rhaglen yw gwella cwmpas a chapasiti symudol, gan helpu i wella cysylltedd digidol i drigolion, busnesau ac ymwelwyr.

Rhagwelir y bydd y contract arfaethedig yn para am gyfnod o dair blynedd a gall gael ei rannu'n bedwar lot ar wahân i hwyluso'r gwaith o'i gyflawni ar draws yr ardaloedd a nodwyd. Darperir manylion pellach ynghylch cwmpas y gwaith, strwythur y lotiau, amserlen y caffael a gofynion y contract yn y dogfennau tendro ar adeg eu cyhoeddi.
