description
The purpose is to provide annual Planned Inspection and Testing of maintained and non-maintained luminaires, illuminated escape signage and associated battery systems where present. The Contract comprises Planned Inspection and Testing of emergency lighting systems and Responsive Fault Attendance for reported faults and system failures. The Contract does not include guaranteed remedial works, installations, system upgrades or replacement equipment.
A 24/7 callout facility will be required to deliver responsive fault activities.
The Contract is to enable the inspection and testing of Staffordshire County Council's (SCC's) Corporate properties and Local Education Authority (LEA) Maintained Schools. Additionally, the Contract Managing Agent may use the Contract for some or all its customers' 200+ Academy, Fire Service and other properties.
There are presently approximately 471 properties under contract, which are anticipated to be transferred to this agreement. The properties include all types of buildings operated by a Local Authority including educational, residential care homes, civic buildings, offices, fire stations, enterprise centres and small industrial units.
