Preliminary Market Engagement for Consumables for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) Machines

The value below is a framework or dynamic market ceiling: the maximum that could be spent across all call-offs, not the value of a single contract. Aggregate figures on this site exclude these to avoid double counting.

description

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise is to inform the market of our proposed procurement for the provision of Consumables for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) Machines across Northern Ireland.

CPAP and ASV therapies are used by Health and Social Care (HSC) Trust Sleep Services to support patients diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and other sleep-related breathing disorders. The service includes patient assessment, diagnosis, provision of therapy equipment and the ongoing supply of consumables required to support effective treatment.

It is envisaged that the future procurement will establish a framework arrangement for the supply of CPAP and ASV consumables on behalf of HSCNI. The framework will support the continued availability of a broad range of consumables and brands, enabling clinicians to select the most clinically appropriate products and cater for legacy equipment. This will include but not be restricted to:

  1. Supply of CPAP and ASV Masks
  2. Supply of Associated Consumables and Accessories

We hope that the Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) will help encourage supplier interest in this tender. It will also help us understand any barriers to tendering that suppliers currently face so these can be considered when drafting the HSC tender
