Heather Cutting and Collection at Cannock Chase Country Park

Staffordshire County Council has procured the hire of two track cut and collect machines plus operators, to cut predetermined patches of Heather within the Cannock Chase Country Park.

The contract will commence on 1st September 2026 and, subject to earlier termination in accordance with its terms, will continue until midnight on 31st August 2029. At the Authority's entire discretion, the term may be extended with additional options to extend by up to 2 X 12 months - up to 31st August 2031 on the same terms for such period(s) in accordance with the contract.

The total estimated value (excluding VAT) is circa £250,000 over the total 5 years
