description
This Dynamic Market is designed to address the ‘valley of death’ and to increase engagement and competition in the innovation and scaling phases of solution development. Innovation and scaling are the focus areas of this Dynamic Market. The guidelines that we are providing to assist in the understanding of the scope are as follows: Innovation is the process of creating, developing, or improving products, services, processes, or business models to generate value. It involves the practical implementation of new ideas to solve problems, meet needs, or exploit opportunities, often leading to significant advancements in efficiency, quality or user experience with a view to testing, improving outcomes and scaling solutions into operational development.
This Dynamic Market seeks organisations that are motivated to help defence answer existing and future problems and / or to scale solutions up to operational deployment as well as all phases in between. For this reason, we heavily encourage organisations from academia and micro enterprises all the way through to global corporations to join the Dynamic Market ecosystem.
To help industry and MOD understand where requirements and problem statements fall, and to understand where each organisation may have the greatest success as well as identifying areas for maturation, we have combined well-established 'Readiness Levels' to form our 'Dynamic Readiness Levels (DRLs)' which are detailed in the Membership Pack which can be downloaded from the open invitation of membership on the Defence Sourcing Portal Project: https://contracts.mod.uk/esop/toolkit/opportunity/current/59965/detail.si
A virtual industry engagement session shall be held at 14:00 on the 2 Jul 25 to discuss the membership process including the DRLs. Invitation to the event will be by request. At this point the form will close and no additional participants will be accepted to the industry engagement session. Invites will be sent out on 2 Jul 25 only once the MS Forms has closed.
