description

Health Education England (The Authority) is seeking to commission a Masters Level (level 7) Module (the Module) initially aimed at Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC) registered Physiotherapists who have qualified and specialised in musculoskeletal (MSK) for a minimum of 3 years. The aim is that those successfully completing this Module will be fully recognised as MSK First Contact Practitioners (FCPs) and will be eligible to record their attainment on the FCP directory at the HEE Centre for Advancing Practice. It is intended that the academic credits completed within a year can contribute to a future Masters programme in Advanced Practice.

The objective of the Module will be to deliver learning and assessments that ensure these practitioners develop the ability to independently undertake assessments/diagnosis in primary care and to determine appropriate management.
