The contract is for the delivery of the following two work packages:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the perinatal psychiatry bursary programme, including delivery and facilitation of training and CPD - £30,000.
- Development and delivery of perinatal psychiatry training programme and curriculum including workshops - £165,000.
Both work packages are vital supporting components for the proposal to develop and deliver a bursary scheme for adult consultant psychiatrists to train as clinical leads for new and developing specialist perinatal mental health services. (Funding for this, totalling £1.415m, will be funded by a separate non-competed grant application).
