description
The contract is for process evaluation of the early implementation of the Faster Diagnosis Standard across five test sites with the aim of informing the approach and best practice for national roll-out. The Faster Diagnosis Standard was a recommendation from the Independent Cancer Taskforce stating that patients should wait no longer than 28 days from GP referral for investigation with a suspicion of cancer, to a cancer diagnosis or ruling out of cancer. The standard should be fully implemented by 2020/21.
