description
| 1.1. | Essex County Council (ECC) has set out a clear vision for Essex – we want to be a county where innovation brings prosperity. To achieve this vision we need to work in new ways with partners in the public and private sectors, the voluntary and community sector, and with individuals, families and communities. We must approach the challenges we face with creativity and innovation if we are to secure the outcomes we desire. | ||
| 1.2. | Our Corporate Outcomes Framework has been developed to support this way of working. The Framework sets out the seven high level outcomes that we want to achieve to ensure prosperity and wellbeing for our residents. These outcomes range from ensuring our children get the best start in life to our residents enjoying good health and wellbeing, Essex residents living in safe communities to Essex businesses and communities benefitting from sustainable economic growth. These outcomes are supported by a series of indicators by which we intend to measure our progress. More information on our vision and Corporate Outcome Framework can be downloaded from the ECC website . | ||
| 1.3. | As in previous years, ECC has allocated funding to the Essex Learning Partnership Fund to deliver training which support these outcomes. The funding available is as follows: | ||
| Title | Total available funding | Maximum value per project |
Part A
| 16-19 Funding | ||
| (Education Funding Agency) | £200,000 | £100,000 |
| Part B | Single Adult Budget (Community Learning) | |
| (Skills Funding Agency) | £250,000 | £50,000 |
- ECC is looking to award funding to organisations that can demonstrate the most effective way in which the money will be used and has the greatest impact on learners.
Additional information: Essex County Council and Adult Community Learning are undertaking a procurement exercise for its Essex Learning Partnership Fund, EFA and SFA funding, for 2016/17. The tender is due to be issued on Monday 7th July.
