T0677A Third Party NSIP team Technical Partner Extension Scope A (Rail)

As described in S101.1, there remains a degree of uncertainly around many of the third-party projects for the interim settlement year, including those which are currently paused by the developer and the future pipeline of projects that may be managed by the Client.

Additionally, while we continue to work closely with developers to understand any new requirements or likely changes, the scope of work required is dependent on the timelines set by third parties. Therefore, the support provided by the Consultant needs to be sufficiently flexible to strike a balance between being responsive and remaining efficient, including continued Client access to a wide range of technical knowledge and expertise in order to meet changing priorities.

At the time of writing, the projects currently being managed by the Client, and are therefore likely to require support from the Consultant, are as below:

RAIL (WO Scope a)

• HS2 Phase 2b / Northern Powerhouse Rail, including new lines from

Liverpool to Leeds and the impacts of Rainbow Works and other local

developments

• East West Rail, including impacts of a new town (Tempsford) and

Project Nectarine
