The University of Sheffield has awarded a tender on behalf of the Faculty of Engineering for four Wind tunnels.
The University required 4 off wind tunnels for teaching undergraduates the core scientific principles of fluid flow, instrumentation and aerodynamics. The tunnels will be used to measure the forces acting on, and the air pressures around, a wide range of models which should be supplied along with instrumentation.
Four identical wind tunnels that can be separately controlled are required.
This tender has now been awarded and no further expressions of interest will be accepted.
