GB-Harlow: T020-16 Electronic Patient Feedback System

This is a requirement to procure and implement an integrated, comprehensive Electronic Patient Feedback System through hardware and app software supporting the Friends and Family test, clinic or consultant level feedback and quality improvement.

Feedback should be possible through a range of electronic devices including smart phones, tablet devices and computers.

Input Methods/ Devices

Feedback to be entered onto 7 x kiosk stands in the following outpatient areas: Princess Alexandra Hospital, Wych Elm, Herts and Essex Community Hospital, St Margaret’s Hospital, the main reception meet and greet, PAHT A&E and the main hospital restaurant. The kiosks are to be quoted as optional items.

Tablets to be provided for each ward – 19 in total. The tablets are to be quoted as optional items as the trust may purchase directly from one of our providers, however the successful bidder will need to install the relevant software onto these devices and provide the specification of device required in line with the software capabilities.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is a member of the East Of England Collaboriative Procurement Hub covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Any resultant contract maybe for the benifit of other organsiations. The selected suppliers will be expected to supplier all specified products/ services from within their range as are required by the contracting authority from time to time. Future additions to their ranges will also be included. If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this maybe done in whole or in part via electronic means using the internet, and may also be through the medium of an electronic reverse auction. The contract is for the benifit of other participating NHS bodies and any other Non NHS bodies which the participants deam nessasary for the delivery of services or goods to NHS bodies, local authorities, other government departments or non departmental public bodies charged with the delivery of healthcare related services.
