description
The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is the independent regulator of pharmacy professionals and businesses. We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations to deliver surveys of pharmacy pre-registration trainees and tutors. The survey instruments are being developed by a group of pharmacy practice academics: this tender is for the delivery of survey instruments online. The organisation will:
- carry out surveys 2013-2016: one in 2013, three in 2014 and three in 2016
- deliver raw results in an agreed format to the survey developers in order for them to produce reports
Each survey will be administered to about 2500-3000 people. Initial contact will be by email, the addresses being supplied by the GPhC.
After the expressions of interest, shortlisted researchers will be invited to submit a full proposal. Some shortlisted applicants will then be invited to present proposals to the GPhC. We need the first survey to be administered in October 2013.
Expressions of interest are to be submitted either via the mytenders web portal or by e-mail to: procurement@pharmacyregulation.org.
The expressions of interest are to include the following information about your organisation and should demonstrate the following (maximum 1000 words in total):
- Significant experience of doing large scale surveys
- Relevant expertise - including statistical, survey methodology
- Secure and effective data processing on behalf of another organisation (Systems Level Security policies or the like)
