The core objective of this service is to provide a range of traffic modelling services for Customer, Strategy & Communications and other Directorates.
This is a one year extension to the previous four year commission, and over the last few years a number of topics have been research and reported on.
Within the previous year these services explicitly included:
| a. | To extend the work carried out under Task 5 to investigate journey time reliability to finalise work which was commenced in the previous commission and conduct further testing. |
| b. | To explore whether there is sufficient new data to re-estimate model speed flow relationships. |
| c. | Work to support National Highway's 'Size of the Prize' tool |
| d. | To peer review National Highway's Policy Modelling |
| e. | To investigate more disaggregate forecasts of the proportion of EVs using the SRN by capturing differential rates of EV adoption across England. |
