description
| • | The primary aim of this project is to collect evidence on consumer attitudes and behaviour for the ‘Consumer Demand-Side Response’ Literature & Evidence Review, which will feed into the Smart Energy Team’s Call for Evidence. |
| • | This project will test and complement existing findings from the literature and evidence on consumer engagement with DSR (and with smart energy more generally), as well as explore new themes. |
| • | Existing studies and trials have either been limited in their questions or sample size; this project will allow us to ask questions on a range of relevant areas to a nationally representative sample. |
| • | Verify some of our findings from the social research. |
| • | Test some of our policy options/thinking on a wider audience. |
| • | Customer attitudes to some of the more tricky political questions (e.g. strong nudge on smart appliances). |
