description
The aim of the project:
- to fill specific knowledge gaps in consumer attitudes and behaviours around the sale/purchase and renovation of domestic properties
- test acceptability and response to policy options, likely take-up and whether the policies overcome barriers to take up
- identify groups more or less likely to take up the policy (when incentives set at certain levels)
- start to identify range of incentive level likely to have an impact on take up
Gaps in existing evidence have been identified which can only be filled with new research.
Testing of new policy ideas is only possible through new primary research. New policy idea so limited existing research
