description
- (a)Insulin Pumps & Continuous Glucose Monitoring Device (CGM)
- (b)Consumables required enabling administration of Insulin via Insulin Pumps
The aim of the framework agreement will be to enable Authorities to enjoy a choice of devices at affordable pricing in line with CCG funding. Furthermore the framework agreement will formalise arrangements to enable devices and associated consumables to be ordered by and delivered to patients in their own homes in a timely and efficient manner, whilst enabling a transparent and auditable process that will enable authorities to pay for these products. It is anticipated that the framework agreement will be awarded with a maximum duration of four years. Whilst LPP will seek to secure competitive pricing by driving volume commitment through the framework based on choice, nevertheless LPP, participating authorities or groups of participating authorities will reserve the right to conduct further competitions on behalf of participating authorities where that authority/those authorities wishes to improve value by rationalising the product range available. When conducting local further competitions, Authorities may develop the specification to provide for specific requirements relevant to those organisations.
