NHS Arden and GEM Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England will be inviting suitably qualified organisations to express interest in delivering CAMHS Inpatient Services for Midlands and East of England:
In East Midlands:
- LOT 1 Eating Disorder (12 beds) - East Midlands (North)
- LOT 2 Eating Disorder (8 beds) - East Midlands (South)
- LOT 3 PICU services (8 beds) - East Midlands
In West Midlands:
- LOT 4 Low Secure (8 beds) - West Midlands
- LOT 5 PICU (8 beds) - West Midlands
In East of England:
- LOT 6 General Adolescent Unit (9 beds) - East of England with flexibility to meet the full specification for young people with eating disorders within the unit
Across Midlands and East of England:
- LOT 7 General Adolescent Unit for Young People with a Learning Disability (9 beds) - resource for the whole of Midlands and East.

More information about the services can be found on https://www.england.nhs.uk/commissioning/spec-services/npc-crg/group-c/c03/ the specifications are currently under review and providers will be expected to flex their services to meet any changing data and services requirements.
There is an urgency to develop these services where there is either very little or no provision and in order to support the reconfiguration of bed capacity nationally and therefore this will be an important factor for decision making.
