Walsall Safeguarding Children Board and Walsall Safeguarding Adults Board are seeking applications from individuals whose passion, vision and commitment to safeguarding some of the most vulnerable members of society matches, and challenges that of our own.
This role requires an outstanding individual with proven experience of chairing complex meetings at a senior level, particularly in partnership settings, and who has a good operational and strategic understanding of the safeguarding agenda. The successful candidate will need to evidence they can:
| • | Consistently provide strong leadership, strategic vision; |
| • | Demonstrate excellent negotiation and influencing skills; |
| • | Demonstrate experience in building and maintaining productive partnerships; |
| • | Analyse complex information and provide robust scrutiny and challenge. |
| • | Have detailed understanding of relevant regulations |
| • | Have the ability to ensure all partner agencies in Walsall collaborate effectively to safeguard children, promote their welfare and improve outcomes |
