description
ITS require a flexible 1-year call-off contract with option to extend for additional 12 months. 70 licences are to be available at point of contract award and the ability to call off another 100 licences as required throughout the contract term. The same initial number of licences (70) and option to call-off 100 additional licences is required for Year 2.
The requirement is to provide ITS staff with high quality training through the provision of specialist training programmes on a range of courses, with high quality content designed by world renowned specialists in their field. This includes Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure and Linux provided via the A Cloud Guru learning management system.
Access to high quality on-demand online courses allows training to be accessed quickly to accommodate the constant changes in technology. These licences are needed to validate capability and associated skill sets as part of continued professional development programme within ITS meeting both staff and business needs, supporting ITS in delivering IT services across DVLA, and the completion of courses can lead to certification which is a key part of ITS' IT forward plan.
There is an absolute need for flexibility when training is undertaken to minimise impact on operational services, therefore the provision of an online on demand training facility is essential.
