The University of Sheffield has awarded a tender for Structural Experimental equipment to be housed in our new Diamond Building.
The Light Structures Laboratory within the Diamond will be used by students from a wide range of disciplines across the Faculty of Engineering, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. The purpose of the Laboratory is the translation of theoretical principles into real-life experiences, and vice versa, to promote both qualitative and quantitative understanding.
This tender was divided into nine (9) Lots:
