description

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is looking to commission research to improve the department's understanding of how population size, population density and geography impact on the performance of unitary local authorities and to explore whether there is an optimal scale for unitary councils. This will support the department's work in assessing any future proposals for unitarisation.

Full details are set out in the document attached to this Notice.

This research is likely to be commissioned through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) - RM6126 Research and Insights.

Suppliers are able to apply to join the DPS at any time. During application to join the DPS, suppliers indicate which services they may be able to provide under the DPS.

Please note that new suppliers are able to register with the DPS via the following link and that this process can take around 2 weeks: https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/dps?fh=1#research

If you have any questions about the DPS and would like to contact a member of the CCS team please use the links provided on the website above.

Additional information: Responses to the questions raised in the attached document should be sent to the email address indicated by 5pm on Weds 8 May 2024.
