GB-Colchester: Consultancy Services (0068)

Colchester Borough Council and Braintree District Council have obtained Cabinet approval in principle to set up a Housing development focused WOC in March 2016. Work is now underway to develop a full business case which will be presented back to both Council’s Cabinet in the Autumn. Further work is now required to complete the business case and therefore the Council's are now seeking to appoint a consultant(s) to provide specialist commercial, accounting, financial modelling and legal advice in developing the Housing proposals.

It is envisaged that the commission will be taken forward in 2 stages;

1.Supporting legal, commercial and financial analysis to develop a robust business case

2.Following approval of full business case, the establishment of a WOC and supporting legal, financial and commercial structures

Additional information: Colchester Borough Council undertook this tender exercise via a mini competition utilising the Crown Commercial Services Framework ConsultancyONE (RM1502), Lot 4.1. The initial Business case (Stage 1) must be completed by November and this will determine whether stage 2 is undertaken.
