description
Southampton City Councils Planning Policy Team would like to undertake quantitative market research in the form of a telephone survey of residents living in the city centre to establish whether, and in what numbers, they visit the Solent coastline, the New Forest and local greenspaces.
Looking at other similar surveys The Planning Policy Team have identified 60 different potential questions however suspect that this number of questions is likely to be excessive and are unsure of the optimum number. It is also unclear the number of surveys that will be required in order to secure a statistically significant sample and the costs of undertaking this number of surveys. To gain an understanding of the market place an RFI is being undertaken.
Additional information: Applicants will be required to respond to the RFI via "Supply Southampton" website which can be accessed via, https://supplysouthampton.esourcingportal.com/ where you can register your details and access information. All questions must be completed and submitted by no later than the time/date indicated. The Council undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject to the Council's obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If the applicant considers that any of the information submitted in the proposal should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity then this should be stated with the reason for considering it sensitive.
