description
Requirement:
The London Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) is seeking an evaluator to undertake a detailed process and impact evaluation of the 2nd Iteration of the Youth Practitioners Leadership & Development Programme. The evaluation will explore the programme design, implementation and delivery. It should help identify barriers, benefits, highlight key learning and promising practices to help drive improvements. The evaluation partner will be required to work in close collaboration with the leadership programme delivery partner and the VRU to design, develop and deliver a suitable evaluation model for this programme.
Background:
In recognition of the critical role that the youth sector has in supporting young people exposed to the risk of violence, the VRU commissioned a new and improved version of the Youth Practitioner Leadership and development programme with the continued aim of providing high-quality, specialist and bespoke training and support to help youth practitioners build on their expertise in supporting young people and to increase their leadership skills to develop in their careers. This contract was awarded in March 2024.
As an evidence-based organisation, the VRU uses research and analysis to help inform our decisions and work. This involves conducting or commissioning research and evaluation to help understand how commissioned services are working, and whether services are delivering the results we expect.
How to apply:
The maximum budget for the evaluation is £105,000 excl VAT over 24 months.
